Are you shocked by the statistics that say by the year 2020, more than 50% of Americans could have diabetes or prediabetes? That means, one of every two people, including adults and children, will be overweight! We can't help but notice what's happening to the waistlines of our children! In fact, childhood obesity has tripled in the last thirty years.
Let's do something about this to shift the dire prediction that
this will be the first generation of kids to have
a lower life expectancy than their parents.
What can we do? We can start in our homes by creating a healthy environment; choosing to "BE healthy" instead of "doing diets" thus becoming role models for the children that look up to us. What's needed is a comprehensive approach - implementing new traditions (habits) that nurture the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energies of all family members. It starts with Mom transforming into an effective role model of health in body, mind and spirit.
YOU REALLY CAN TRANSFORM YOURSELF using a system for changing behaviors that is sustainable and doesn't put you into deprivation! We have all sorts of resources to help you.

There are three essential components of a program to create permanent change. They are:
Education about what behaviors and strategies to adopt - my weekly web TV show, Creating Healthy Families TV, will feature a body, mind or spirit tip or strategy that you can implement. The FREE report, Raising Healthy Children Starts With Nurturing Their Energies, also includes strategies that can be adopted. If you haven't downloaded that, be sure to do so.
